Health practices isA unique editorial approach; the platform stands out from traditional online directories through genuine editorial work rather than a mere collection of links. The aim is to streamline access to knowledge for practitioners in the field through careful curation. Publication frequency: Each week, around 12 to 15 resources are scrutinised in detail. . This volume is regarded as the perfect balance for maintaining a highly active monitoring programme without overwhelming the audience, ensuring that only the most operational documents are shared. The transformation process (4 stages):

The selection

This first step involves sifting through a large volume of resources to retain only those that offer genuine value: relevance, reliability and practical usefulness. The aim is to build up a database of pre-screened documents.

The analysis

The selected content is then analysed in depth: main ideas, key data, context (authors, intentions, framework), as well as nuances and limitations. The aim is to achieve a detailed and structured understanding.

The synthesis

The analysed content is summarised to highlight its main value: a few key ideas and a central message, restated clearly and concisely. The aim is to provide information that can be understood quickly..

The decoding

Final step: the content is simplified and translated into directly applicable actions, recommendations or best practices. The aim is to move from theory to practical application.

The values of Health Practices
Analysis of referenced documents

Each reference is subject to a structured critical reading around the values of Health Practices : literacy (accessibility and adaptation to the public), empowerment (the ability of individuals to act), participation and community health (co-construction, territorial anchoring), ethics and human rights (equity, inclusion, respect for diversity), intersectorality and partnerships (articulation of health–social–education), combating discrimination. This framework allows, in a few phrases, to identify the concrete contributions of the resource for field practices  -  For each reference, Health Practices also assesses the reliability of the resource. This evaluation is based on the scientific and operational relevance of the document : quality and diversity of the cited sources, rigor of the methodology, and current data used

Founder and facilitator of Pratiques en santé

Expert in public health, health prevention, and in the social and medico-social sectors, I have dedicated my career to information engineering and supporting stakeholders in the living field. My expertise has been forged over the years - since 1978 - through a plural practice: at various times a field actor in the heart of neighbourhoods, trainer, network facilitator, evaluator, and documentary mediator, I have developed a fine understanding of the needs and challenges that shape the daily lives of professionals. It is the richness of these different facets that gave birth to Pratiques en Santé, a platform that celebrates, in turn, its 21 years of existence allowing me to put my experience at the service of your impact: I carry out rigorous editorial and monitoring work to sort, analyse, and structure often dense information, in order to transform it into fluid reference points and operational tools, directly connected to your field realities and your prevention projects.
