Editorial

Digital technology runs through this issue from start to finish. For young 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, it is sometimes the first place to put words to oneself; for others, it amplifies anxiety and misinformation. Even artificial intelligence in health is read this way: neither magic nor catastrophe. Each time, the same invitation returns — to demonise nothing, to idealise nothing, to maintain a critical mind. The major roadmaps, on sexual health as well as on disability, set the course but remind us that the essentials play out on the ground. And the most concrete determinants — the noise of a street, the path to school, a climate indicator — weigh as much as national strategies. Behind each text, a conviction: to inform without overshadowing, to equip without guilt.

HEALTH PROMOTION

National Health Literacy Framework (Australia)

Health literacy is no longer just an individual matter: organisations and the system must make information clear and safe. A framework (vision, 7 principles, 4 axes) to transpose, in the face of AI and misinformation. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/cadre-national-de-litteratie-en-sante-australie-6170

SOCIETAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Climate change and health indicators

How a climate-health indicator is made, what it really measures and what it does not say. A grid to distinguish a solid figure from a misleading one before disseminating it. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/indicateurs-changement-climatique-et-sante-definitions-et-criteres-de-selection-6163

Going by oneself – children's eco-mobility

Walking or cycling to school is a lever for health and autonomy, not just transport. 13 territories and 13 action sheets to act on home-school journeys. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/aller-de-soi-inspirations-pour-favoriser-l-ecomobilite-des-enfants-6165

Exposure to noise and children's difficulties

Of ~8,000 children followed until the age of 10, high and sustained road noise at home is linked to more emotional and relational difficulties. A quantified support for improving living conditions. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/residential-noise-exposure-and-children-s-emotional-and-behavioural-difficulties-in-france-a-birth-cohort-study-6167

PUBLIC POLICIES

The mental health of young people in the digital age – the cost of non-Europe

One in five young people has a disorder, many forgo care; digital technology amplifies without being solely responsible. Inaction is quantified at €1.68 trillion (2024-2033): a basis for advocacy. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/mental-health-of-young-people-in-a-digital-era-cost-of-non-europe-report-6164

Instruction – role of ARS in sexual education

The text distributes roles: the School remains responsible for the sessions, the health field (ARS, approved associations…) provides support. Useful for linking local action to the national framework without stepping outside it.  https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/instruction-n-dgs-sp2-2026-119-du-28-aout-2026-relative-au-role-des-agences-regionales-de-sante-ars-dans-l-accompagnement-a-la-mise-en-%C5%93uvre-du-programme-scolaire-d-education-a-la-sexualite-6171

National Disability Conference 2026 – Press Kit

The official target 2026-2029: 16 commitments, 65 measures (accessibility, school, employment, health, emotional life). A tool for anticipation and advocacy, to be read as announcements, not a report. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/conference-nationale-du-handicap-2026-dossier-de-presse-slogan-de-couverture-passer-d-une-societe-inclusive-a-une-societe-pleinement-accessible-6172

Roadmap – National Sexual Health Strategy 2026-2030

The national framework for 5 years: 22 actions, 5 axes, new funding. Projects to know: chemsex, EVARS outside school, sexual health in ESSMS, Overseas. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/feuille-de-route-strategie-nationale-de-sante-sexuelle-2026-2030-6173

POPULATION HEALTH

Digital spaces & young 2SLGBTQ+

Through 49 narratives, digital technology appears as a frontline (sometimes vital) support for articulating one's identity, finding peers, and accessing information. Neither demonise nor idealise. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/ca-a-tout-change-les-espaces-numeriques-comme-atout-pour-l-exploration-et-l-affirmation-identitaire-des-jeunes-adultes-2slgbtq-6161

Disabled youth – gender-based violence and rights (UNFPA)

Where youth, disability, and gender intersect: data, rights frameworks, and practices to identify invisible violence and make reception and care truly accessible. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/jeunes-handicapes-etude-pour-mettre-fin-a-la-violence-basee-sur-le-genre-et-l-application-des-droits-lies-a-la-sante-sexuelle-et-reproductive-6162

Preserving mental health in ageing

Seven categories of interventions classified; at the forefront, moderate physical activity and mindfulness, with guidelines for ‘dosage’. The real challenge: to disseminate and sustain in the territories. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/preserving-mental-health-as-we-age-modelling-an-effective-mental-health-programme-for-older-people-living-at-home-6166

THEMATIC APPROACHES

Demystifying AI in health (WHO-Europe)

What AI can and cannot do, how to identify biases and ‘hallucinations’, why human supervision remains essential. A text that equips a critical stance more than it provides tools. https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/demystifying-artificial-intelligence-in-health-what-health-policy-makers-need-to-know-6168

European Drug Report 2026 (EUDA)

A more complex market: more potent substances, counterfeit products, poly-consumption, new synthetic opioids. Comparable data between countries to anticipate risks.  https://www.pratiquesensante.com/en/blog/practices-15/european-drug-report-2026-trends-and-developments-6169
