Editorial
A thread runs through this selection: act on the causes, not on the people. Whether it concerns vaccination, domestic accidents, addictions or suicide in institutions, the reports say the same thing — it is better to transform the environment than to blame individuals. They also remind us that health information escapes one in three people, and that the local connection — neighbour, shopkeeper, association — retains those whom the large networks have abandoned. In the face of industry narratives as well as the most distant audiences — exploited adolescents, migrants, isolated families — the same lever comes back: to reach out, without judgment, to where inequalities are widening. The ground is often already ahead. What remains is to document what works, and to defend it.
